- Entrant hereby agrees to take part in The 2014 Sunrise Park Resort Hunting Video Competition, which is currently scheduled to take place on Saturday, July 5th, 2014 at 6:30pm in the Sunrise Base Lodge Cafeteria. These Official Rules apply to The Sunrise Park Resort Hunting Video Competition.
- The video length may be of any length that You Tube and Vimeo will allow. Video competition may be any big game in North America or around the world, predator, turkey, waterfowl, upland game bird hunts, exotic, etc.
- All competition videos must be original content and owned by the entrant. Additionally, Sunrise Park Resort is not responsible for the violation of copyright of original material. Entrants found to be submitting non-original material will be immediately removed from the competition and prevented from re-entering at any time in the future.
- Winners will be determined by audience vote directly from the video competition venue. Viewers will be given a voting card and are permitted one vote.
- A video link from YouTube, Google or Vimeo must be emailed to sunrise@sunriseskipark.com along with your name and phone number.
- Contestants are not required to pay any type of entrance fee for participating in The Sunrise Park Resort Hunting Video Competition.
- A confirmation entry number will be assessed at time of each entry.
- Acceptable entries will be shown publicly on the website. We reserve the right to exclude videos done in bad taste or that are too graphic.
- Hunting videos will not be excepted in CD or DVD format.
- 1st and 2nd place winners will receive prizes that are yet to be determined.
- All entrants into the video competition will be entered into free giveaway drawings.
- The Competition will run from June 1st through July 3rd. All winners will be notified no later than July 5th, 2014.
- All Competition entries are final. Entries cannot be changed once Competition has been entered.
- A Competitor may enter as many videos as they like in the competition. Each entry will be given its own separate confirmation entry number.
- We reserve the right to use the video in any promotional manner associated with The Sunrise Park Resort Hunting Competition. We do NOT, however, retain exclusive rights.
- We reserve the right to refuse anyone’s entry to the competition.
- We are looking for the best content and quality, but send them all in, you never know what may impress the voters.
- You may add personal credits, promotional information and production information at the end of the video.
- Sunrise Park Resort is not liable or responsible for any mental, physical, or financial loss incurred by participating in this competition. I acknowledge this and release Sunrise Park Resort from any and all legal claims. Each Entrant, each Team Member, and each Team, hereby indemnifies, releases, discharges, defends, and holds the North American Hunting Competition (and its owners, managers, members, employees, agents, attorneys, representatives, contractors, vendors, successors and affiliates) harmless from and against any and all claims, losses, damages, obligations, expenses, penalties, settlements, litigations, judgments and any other liabilities of any kind whatsoever (including without limitation attorney’s fees and costs incurred by The Sunrise Park Resort Hunting Video Competition), arising out of, from, or otherwise related to the development, creation, production, or other making or use of Entrant’s entry, and any other activities which at all relate to any Entry, any Entered Film, this Competition, or these Official Rules, including, but not limited to: (A) any third-party or other claim of any ownership right or interest in, or otherwise relating to, any Entered Film; (B) any third-party or other claim of violation of any personal right or proprietary right in connection with the Entered Film, such as defamation, libel, trade libel, slander, “name and likeness” rights, right of privacy, right of publicity, “moral rights”, unauthorized exhibition, breach of contract copyright infringement, trademark infringement, and any other right or claimed right of any other kind or nature; (C) any claims for negligence, injury to persons (including wrongful death), injury to property, or any other injury which may arise out of, result from, or occur, directly or indirectly, in any way in connection with this Competition or any Entered Film; (D) any breach or other violation of these Official Rules; and (E) any other activities by or relating to any Entered Film, Entrant, Team or third-party in connection with this Contest, and any other liability of any kind or nature arising out of any participation in the Competition.
