Event Details: Prove yourself top dog in the Terrain Park in this Slopestyle Competition. Whether Skier or Boarder, this is your chance to win a 2015/2016 Season Pass and a brand new snowboard, courtesy of Pepsi. *A Grand Prize will be awarded to the most impressive MAJOR CLASS skier/boarder who scores highest by our panel of 4 judges. Prizes will also be given away for 2nd Place and 3rd Place. Grand Prize in the MINOR COURSE will be a Jr. 2015/2016 Season Pass, Stickers, Beanie and Goggles, courtesy of Ski Pro.

MAJOR CLASS: Ages 13 & Up

MINOR CLASS: Ages 12 & Under

Participants must first visit the Sunrise Guest Services Office to signup and receive an official competitors bib before entering the Sunrise Terrain Park. All riders will be allowed practice runs from 9:00 to 10:30.

Saturday: Boarder and Skier Best Run

• 8:00 to 10:00 Registration in the Sunrise Guest Services Office
• 9:00 to 10:30 Trial runs in the Sunrise Terrain Park
• 10:45 Mandatory riders meeting at the top of Lodgeview Trail
• 11:00 to 12:30 Competition
• 2:30 Winners Announcements at the Sunrise Saloon Bar

Spring Skiing is a great time to enjoy fantastic weather conditions and to participate in hilarious, one of a kind events. The Sunrise Dummy Downhill is your chance to create a dummy on skis or snowboards and launch them off our man made snow jump in an attempt to hit marked targets on the opposite side in hopes that the dummy remains intact. The Sunrise Dummy Downhill is a fun and exciting way to kickoff Spring Skiing and Guests who bring a dummy creation and participate in the Sunrise Dummy Downhill can receive (1) One FREE All Day Lift Ticket.

Pond Skimming is a fun and thrilling way to push your snow sports skills to the max. On March 21st & 22nd, Sunrise will open a man made pond to skiers and snowboarders who are adventurous enough to try their luck at skimming across nearly 30 feet of water. A must see for guests and spectators alike, half the fun of Pond Skimming is seeing who has what it takes to make it all the way across.

There is no additional charge to Pond Skim but a Sunrise Lift Ticket is required to participate. Guests can sign up for the Pond Skimming Event by visiting the Sunrise Guest Services Office the day of their visit.
