The White Mountain Apache Culinary team would like to invite you to come and sample our cooking and our regional handmade delicacies in our exhibition kitchen. The Culinary Team at Sunrise Park Resort has become innovative leaders in the realm of Native American cuisine becoming renowned for delicious American Regional cooking and White Mountain Apache delicacies. Come and join us in two of our hotel eateries and enjoy a drink in our Black Diamond Bar.
While you visit Sunrise Park Resort and enjoy our activities, we offer 2 eateries, Burrito Bar and Eagles Nest. Depending on your taste, we have the food for you on the Mountain.

Burrito Bar
Open when Base Area Activities are operating
The Burrito Bar offers a wide array of food including burritos and Indian Fry Bread. The Burrito Bar is located at the Sunrise Mountain Base between the Ticket Booth and Rental Building.
Eagles Nest
Open when Scenic Lift is operating
The Eagles Nest offers a wide array of food including Indian Fry Bread, hamburgers, and hot dogs. The Eagles Nest is located at the Sunrise Mountain Peak just off our high speed lift. Come eat at 10,700 feet and enjoy the views from our balcony.
The Summit Restaurant

Summit Restaurant has been the source of our White Mountain Apache creative culinary development for the past 5 years. The kitchen is led by Chef Nephi Craig and our White Mountain Apache Culinary Team. Together the culinary team has garnered recognition in publications such as Indian Country Today, Huffington Post, Newsweek Magazine, Forbes Magazine’s 2013 A-List for Native American Cuisine at Sunrise Park Resort. Most recently Chef Craig and the White Mountain Apache Culinary team’s Western Apache Cuisine have been featured in the 2014 August issue if Food and Wine Magazine.
The Chef’s Table

The Chef’s Table is a unique dining experience that takes place inside the Summit Restaurant Kitchen. The Western Apache Chefs create a special tasting menu for your occasion. This is a one of a kind culinary journey throughout the Americas with Western Apache Cuisine as the vehicle. Come and enjoy a complete Indigenous Culinary Sensory Experience with Chef Nephi Craig and the White Mountain Apache Culinary Team.
The Chef’s Table can seat 2, 4, or 6 people and reservations are required one week in advance. Seats at the Chef’s Table are $95 per person (plus tax and gratuity) not including alcohol. Reservations can be made at (928)-735-7669 ext.2288
Sunset Grill
Will be open at various times during normal operating hours of the hotel.
The Sunset Grill is located on the lower level of the Sunrise Hotel. This location serves the average Bar and Grill menu.
