Come up and enjoy one last day of Skiing and Riding this Sunday April 3, 2016. Chair #1 our high speed quad to the top of Sunrise Peak will be operating as well as chairs #2 and #8 and our lift ticket rates will be the half day rates for a full day of skiing and boarding.

All of us at Sunrise Park Resort what to Thank You for visiting the resort this winter and enjoying some great skiing and riding. It has been our pleasure to serve you and provide the best possible experiences we can. Our reward is seeing the many happy faces and families being together while enjoying this amazing mountain on the White Mountain Apache Reservation, which is a special place to all of use.

Starting next week our Zip Line building crews will be pulling almost 7,000 feet of Zip Line cables for the final three Zips Lines of the New Sunrise Zip Line Tour across many of our major ski runs and base area. They have been anxiously awaiting our winter closure so they can finish the last part of the Tours construction. Plans are to have the Full Zip Line Tour completed by the end of April and testing and training done after that so it is ready to open to the public by mid May, 2016.

It is going to be a great Summer at Sunrise Park Resort so make your plans now to share it with us. Beside the New Zip Line Tour, Sunrise will be open more days and will be adding a second summer tubing lane, a climbing wall, more archery targets and courses, more downhill mountain bike trails in addition to our bungee/trampoline jump, Big Air Bag Jump, Inflatable’s for kids, slack lines, Frisbee golf course and so much more.

Don’t forget Sunrise Park Lodge is a great place for weddings, reunions, or just to get away from the heat and fast pace of the day-to-day grind. Sunrise Lake not only offers great recreational fishing but also Kayaks, Row/Motorboats, Peddle Boats, Fishing Gear and more.
