That’s right, starting today all 3 mountains will be open for the first time this season (Sunrise, Apache & Cyclone). Lots of new snow has fallen this week. Check the Daily Snow Report for updates.

Great day skiing extreme-cold weather, & thus dehydrated*, knee deep powder; on Hurricane Ridge today! I left Y’all a few lines for tomorrow…Enjoy!

Any one know if they are doing anything different for the terrain park this year like bigger better more features? Be awesome if they took after Big Bear and made the whole mountain one giant park and blow Snow Bowl out of the water with their park.
SINCE I WAS IGNORED AGAIN….Just curious why Us college kids have to go through three months of hell and be in debt but we can’t snowboard for the one week were off in December? We pay like everyone else, I could have bought a years worth of top ramen with that $100. Why can’t I get a simple reply? You guys reply to everyone else! This is ridiculous!
Hi Jon I’ve replied to your comment twice now, perhaps you just didn’t see it, nothing against college kids, but most schools here in AZ get 3-4 weeks off for winter break. Blackout for the week after Christmas is pretty common at most ski resorts. You’re welcome to ski anytime we’re open otherwise for the $99 or just purchase an adult pass. Or not board at all.
Hello, as I was reading the website, I’ve seen the prices and I’m a little confused, would I need to pay just to enter the mountain or are the prices quoted to ski and ride the lift ?
Hi Titianna, entering the mountain is free, talk to guest services about just a pass to ride the lift because the prices on the website are for skiing.
