Get ready for another great Fourth Of July at Sunrise Park Resort. The Sunrise 3d Shootout starts June 30th thru July 4th. The Shootout has something for all shooters including fun courses, kids courses, trophy and money shoots, great vendors, prizes and lots more. Raffle’s for registered participants include Hoyt Bows, $22,000 Trophy Elk Hunt on the White Mountain Apache Reservation, elk hunts, hunting and shooting gear and lots more.
Sunrise will also be open for scenic lift rides, bungy jump, tubing, airbag jump, climbing wall, zip line, as well as a variety of food. The Sunrise Park Lodge is open for overnight guests with the Summit Restaurant. The Weekend will also feature a fireworks show on Saturday, July 2nd.

Sunrise Summer Operations is open Seven (7) Days a Week starting Thursday, June 23rd. Traveling from Globe Highway 60 take Highway 73 at Carrizo Junction. (approximately 30 mi. south of Showlow). Traveling from Payson Highway take highway 260.
Sunrise Operations has not been affected by the Cedar Creek Fire and is cool escape from the Summer Heat. Summer operations include Zip Line(s), Scenic Lift Rides, the Sunrise Superslide, Climbing Wall, Airbag, Kayaking, Boating, Peddle Boating, Fishing, and more. Come up and enjoy one last day of Skiing and Riding this Sunday April 3, 2016. Chair #1 our high speed quad to the top of Sunrise Peak will be operating as well as chairs #2 and #8 and our lift ticket rates will be the half day rates for a full day of skiing and boarding.
All of us at Sunrise Park Resort what to Thank You for visiting the resort this winter and enjoying some great skiing and riding. It has been our pleasure to serve you and provide the best possible experiences we can. Our reward is seeing the many happy faces and families being together while enjoying this amazing mountain on the White Mountain Apache Reservation, which is a special place to all of use.
Starting next week our Zip Line building crews will be pulling almost 7,000 feet of Zip Line cables for the final three Zips Lines of the New Sunrise Zip Line Tour across many of our major ski runs and base area. They have been anxiously awaiting our winter closure so they can finish the last part of the Tours construction. Plans are to have the Full Zip Line Tour completed by the end of April and testing and training done after that so it is ready to open to the public by mid May, 2016.
It is going to be a great Summer at Sunrise Park Resort so make your plans now to share it with us. Beside the New Zip Line Tour, Sunrise will be open more days and will be adding a second summer tubing lane, a climbing wall, more archery targets and courses, more downhill mountain bike trails in addition to our bungee/trampoline jump, Big Air Bag Jump, Inflatable’s for kids, slack lines, Frisbee golf course and so much more.
Don’t forget Sunrise Park Lodge is a great place for weddings, reunions, or just to get away from the heat and fast pace of the day-to-day grind. Sunrise Lake not only offers great recreational fishing but also Kayaks, Row/Motorboats, Peddle Boats, Fishing Gear and more.
