Sunrise reopens Friday, December 2nd to the top and skiers and boarders can ski all day at the half-day rate. Lifts operating Lift 1, Lift 8, and Lift 2. The Sunrise Hotel, ski school, rental shop, restaurant and bar, sport shop, and general store will also be open. Sunrise will be open seven (7) days a week starting Monday, December 5.
Sunrise received 5-8 inches of fresh snow overnight! We’re making snow around the clock, and expect to be open to the top soon.
We’ll be closed Monday through Thursday, and we’ll open again Friday, December 2nd.

Sunrise opened lift 8 to midway on Saturday, November 26 and will operate Lift 2 and lift 8 on Sunday, November 27. The resort will be closed Monday, November 28th thru Thursday, December 1 and will reopen Friday, December 2nd. Snowmakers will be hard at work and all efforts will be placed in getting open to the top and adding more terrain. The resort is expecting snow on Sunday and will update as conditions change.
Sunrise will open Thursday, November 24 thru November 27th…… terrain open will be the beginner area at Sunrise base. Lift 2 will be operating and ticket price is $20 for all ages throughout the weekend.A few terrain features, sledding/tubing, ski school, scenic lift rides, Apache Flyer Zip Line, equipment rental, sport shop, cafeteria, snowplay and saloon/bar will also be available. “It’s a great time to get on the snow and break out the equipment in preparation for the upcoming season,” said Brian Bressel, Sunrise Park Resort General Manager. Scenic lift rides will also be available on Lift One $18/Adult and $15/Juniors and Seniors. Sunrise is making snow and will open more terrain as soon as conditions allow. 
As Sunrise Park Resort prepares for opening on Thursday November 24, Thanksgiving Day, approximately 5-8 inches of heavy snow has fallen today with more expected throughout the evening. Snowmaking crews are out making snow and taking advantage of the great snowmaking temperatures. While decisions have yet to be made as far as what terrain will open, all efforts will be made to open as much as possible. More information will be released as soon as trails and conditions are evaluated however, the resort will be open for skiing, snowboarding, sledding, scenic lift rides, and zip rides on Thursday, November 24th thru Sunday, November 27th.
Snowplay, skiing, snowboarding, scenic lift rides, zip lining, and tubing/sledding are just a few of the activities available over Thanksgiving Weekend, November 24, 25, 26, 27. Terrain open will be based upon snow conditions however expect a few boxes/rails, ski school lessons, rental shop, Cafeteria, Sunrise Saloon, General Store, and Hotel open and operating.
