Get ready Powder Lovers! This is the Storm Cycle of the Season and the fun is just getting started here at Sunrise Park Resort.
Over the past 48 hours, a massive storm has dumped over 30″ of new snow over the Mountains, making this week the perfect time to get some turns in with friends and family. Guests can look forward to additional snowfall over the next few days and can take advantage of mid-week ski & stay packages at the Sunrise Hotel which will save time and money.

Sunrise received 12″ of new snow as of 12:00pm and the National Weather Service is predicting anywhere from 13″ to 21″ of snow over the next few days. Current snow conditions are already great for skiing and snowboarding and this approaching storm will only improve on current conditions, making this week the perfect time to come out and enjoy your favorite snow sports.
Guests can rest assured that all roads leading to Sunrise will be clear and safe for travel. Be sure to make it a long day on Saturday for Night Skiing from 4:30pm to 9:00pm. Witness the Torch Light Parade down Sunrise Mountain or participate by signing up at the Sunrise Guest Services Office.
An Epic Storm System is heading to Sunrise and will last several days, bringing fresh powder to the Mountain just in time for the weekend. The National Weather Service is predicting anywhere from 18″ to 31″ inches of snow over the next 36 hours beginning tonight and lasting into Sunday morning. Sunrise received several inches of snow this past weekend and this coming storm is just the icing on the cake. Be sure and book a Ski & Stay Package at the Sunrise Hotel before it’s too late. Over the weekend, a Storm System slowly made it’s way over Sunrise bringing nearly an inch of light snow to the Resort last night. The Storm is predicted to continue throughout the day and into tomorrow with a good chance of up to 12″ of new snow. Stay tuned for updates and photos
