They call this "The White Mountains" for a reason
An Epic Storm System is heading to Sunrise and will last several days, bringing fresh powder to the Mountain just in time for the weekend. The National Weather Service is predicting anywhere from 18″ to 31″ inches of snow over the next 36 hours beginning tonight and lasting into Sunday morning. Sunrise received several inches of snow this past weekend and this coming storm is just the icing on the cake. Be sure and book a Ski & Stay Package at the Sunrise Hotel before it’s too late. Get the most out of this weekend and take advantage of money saving deals and discounts before it’s too late!
Come up and enjoy one last day of Skiing and Riding this Sunday April 3, 2016. Chair #1 our high speed quad to the top of Sunrise Peak will be operating as well as chairs #2 and #8 and our lift ticket rates will be the half day rates for a full day of skiing and boarding.

Our reward is seeing the many happy faces and families being together while enjoying this amazing mountain on the White Mountain Apache Reservation, which is a special place to all of use.
Starting next week our Zip Line building crews will be pulling almost 7,000 feet of Zip Line cables for the final three Zips Lines of the New Sunrise Zip Line Tour across many of our major ski runs and base area. They have been anxiously awaiting our winter closure so they can finish the last part of the Tours construction. Plans are to have the Full Zip Line Tour completed by the end of April and testing and training done after that so it is ready to open to the public by mid May, 2016.
It is going to be a great Summer at Sunrise Park Resort so make your plans now to share it with us. Beside the New Zip Line Tour, Sunrise will be open more days and will be adding a second summer tubing lane, a climbing wall, more archery targets and courses, more downhill mountain bike trails in addition to our bungee/trampoline jump, Big Air Bag Jump, Inflatable’s for kids, slack lines, Frisbee golf course and so much more.
Don’t forget Sunrise Park Lodge is a great place for weddings, reunions, or just to get away from the heat and fast pace of the day-to-day grind. Sunrise Lake not only offers great recreational fishing but also Kayaks, Row/Motorboats, Peddle Boats, Fishing Gear and more.

Sunrise Park Resort received fresh snow overnight and we are expecting colder temperatures throughout this week.

Due to the snow and colder temperatures our our Pond Skimming Event that was scheduled for this weekend April 2-3 has been cancelled.
It’s been a great start to the 2015/2016 season at Sunrise Ski Park! Multiple heavy snowstorms have dumped fresh powder, allowing us to open all 3 mountains 7 days a week! Hope to see you on the mountain!
That’s right, starting today all 3 mountains will be open for the first time this season (Sunrise, Apache & Cyclone). Lots of new snow has fallen this week. Check the Daily Snow Report for updates.
Sunrise is opening this Saturday Nov. 21st. All of Sunrise Peak will be open and lift tickets will be sold at discounted prices. Apache and Cyclone peaks will be opening soon.
The guest services office is open 8:00a - 5:00p and lifts will run 9:00a - 4:00p. We will be open Thanksgiving Day!
